Naomi is 9 months old!

Naomi, today you are 9 months old!
You bring so much JOY into my life - I love being your mother.

At 9 months...

• You have 4 teeth - 2 on top, 2 on bottom with two more on their way. You are a piranha with razor-sharp teeth and chew on EVERYTHING; your favorites being paper, cardboard, my shoulder, Rice Krispies and shoes.
  
  
• You love to be outside and stand at the door until I take you out to play.
  
  
• You enjoy being on your feet walking while holding onto our hands or the push lawnmower. However, you feel it is quite unfair when the wall blocks your passage, so you crash repeatedly into it hoping to force your way through.
  
  
• Your favorite animal sound is the rooster: Cock-a-doodle-doo (performed by mommy, not daddy - he sounds surprisingly like the roosters outside that crow all night long).
  
  
• You've learned to point and wave bye-bye and are fascinated with teeth, poking your finger into the mouth of everyone you meet.
  
  
• You are a good eater, though you disagree about wearing a bib. Your newest favorite is prunes (you go, girl!). You also like Rice Krispies, squash, sweet potatoes, carrots and rice cereal. You tolerate green beans, sweet peas, peaches and pears, and really dislike bananas, avacados and applesauce (at least they disagree with you).
  
  
• You are my buddy - we go everywhere together and you still love hanging out in the sling, just slightly modified on my hip. You are definitely a momma's girl... except on the days when you're daddy's girl. You light up when he comes home from work and melt into his arms when he puts you to bed at night.
  
  
• You prefer my computer and cell phone to any toy in the house, and know where the power button is - yikes!
  
  
• Your favorite games are destroying the block towers daddy builds, chasing the ball around the house and peek-a-boo.
  
  
• You are full of kisses for people you love and your snuggle-hugs are the best (even though they only last 2 seconds!)
  
  
• One word to describe you? Delightful.
