Easter Sunday

This leaf was given to Mark while he was living in Japan as a missionary. It was hand painted and brought back from India. I think it is beautiful.

I feel so blessed every day to be a family - to have Mark and Naomi and to have been sealed together as a family forever. I am grateful for good families and reasonably good health. I am most especially thankful for the atonement of our Savior, Jesus Christ. There are few scriptures more powerful than Matthew 28:6, "He is not here: for he is risen, as he said."

"He is the light, the life, and the hope of the world. His way is the path that leads to happiness in this life and eternal life in the world to come. God be thanked for the matchless gift of His divine Son." -quoted from "The Living Christ: The Testimony of the Apostles"

We enjoyed a delightful Easter feast with several friends hosted by Audrey and Marshall. We supplied the turkey and they cooked it (what a deal!) It was so good!

I loved watching Naomi follow Will and Hannah (1.5 and 2 years old) around watching and pretending to be a big kid like them. It is so fun to watch her grow! I've loved each stage of her development and frankly am very grateful that she is walking so early. She keeps me on my toes and can reach everything on the bottom three shelves, the table, desks, the toilet paper... everything I don't want her into... but I love it. She is totally mobile and she loves the freedom to explore. She is happy and I am happy.
