more summer photos
Somewhere between our summer arrival and departure, Naomi sprouted from a baby into a little girl. It surprised me - I didn't realize it would happen that fast.
She loved being able to run and explore, be with grandmas and grandpas, uncles, aunties & cousins.
Mark's thoughts: "Ah, the mainland." (insert longing sigh)
feeding the sheep corn husks from the garden (baa baa)
corn on the cob (yum!)
picking (and eating) raspberries (mmmm)
kitty cat! (meow)
The kitty was a "ruff-ruff" (dog) when we first arrived... actually all the animals were ruff-ruffs when we first arrived. By the time we left she knew the cow (moo), sheep (baa baa), nanny goats (na na), cat (meow), horse (neigh), and chickens (boc boc).
learning to count...
1 (one finger)
2 (one finger on each hand)
3 (point the both fingers towards each other ?)
goodbye summer. we'll be back next year for more!
