2 months old!

Dear Kalea Kaura,

Today you are two months old! Your smile tickles my heart. I love the moments when your eyes look directly into my soul to speak to me. It's a spirit to spirit connections and makes me love you even more dearly.

You have an expressive little voice with lots of different sounds and there have been a few times I'm sure you were trying to sing right along with us. Your favorite song is "I am a Child of God", a primary song. Your eyes light up and you'll often smile. Second place would have to be any song coming out of Naomi's mouth. She loves you and is such a good big sister. If you are lonely or crying, she will come put her head next to yours, hold your hand and sing or talk to you... and amazingly, you quiet right down. It's been so hard for her to not be able to kiss you and hold you while she's been sick.

Your eyes light up when she walks into your view. I am thrilled that you share such a sweet bond.

You love to be in mommy (or daddy's) sling - it is your comfort place, but hate being strapped into a car seat. Naomi has a matching sling for her dolly and so we put them on and go for walks together and you snuggle in and usually go to sleep.

You like to eat every 1.5 hours... on the dot. There is no rounding of the numbers. Every hour and a half you go from pleasant to "Where's my bottle?! I need a bottle!" in 3 seconds. Haha. I usually say, "It's coming, Angie, It's coming" ;) haha. (happiness level depends on how full her tummy is). I'm getting smarter. Now I think ahead and try to have it ready before you are ready!

You are loved immensely. Your birthparents love you more than could ever be expressed with words. They want the very best life possible for you and I feel so very, very honored to be your mother and be blessed to teach and raise you. I love you, love you, love you. Happy 2 months.
