Dear miss Naomi Ardyza Kalani,

You are the sunshine in my life. You are funny and witty and sensitive, dramatic, smart, very beautiful, and a ray of hope in so many lives.





At two and a half years old...

You love geography... your atlas and world globe ball. The list of locations you can find on the map is growing steadily... Hawaii, Indonesia, Philippines, Japan, China, New Zealand, Africa, Egypt (sometimes), North America, Utah and Canada. Blows my mind.

You LOVE to sing. In church, at home, to Kalea... and make up such delightful little tunes.

You've grown up very much in the last few months. You are very lucky to be a big sister now and take good care of your little Kalea Kaura. Your songs and company make her very happy. Though sometimes your "help" is... well... trying to feed her expired bottles and pick her up aren't exactly helpful. ;) ... but you're learning... and so am I.

Your little body needs very little rest. You can go to sleep at 10pm and wake up at 7am and still have enough energy to GO GO GO all day long!

You love music, a good beat, and DANCING! You love walks to the beach, sticks, sidewalk chalk, bubbles, friends and cereal with milk.

At times you stretch my patience... but you also stretch my heart. I feel THANKFUL and very very blessed to be your mother. Every.Single.Day.
