Sunday afternoon walk

On the beach.
Complete with daddy.
I totally dig this.
We now have Mark with us all day on Sundays, so after attending church from 8:00am- 11:00am we have the entire afternoon together.
I'm lovin' it. And so are the girls.

We love the soft sand at Temple beach and the view across to Laie point. It's the furthest we've lived from the ocean since we moved to Hawaii 5+ years ago, but with only a 10 minute walk to this soft-sand beach, I can't complain.

One thing leads to another, and before long...
we have ears, hair, eyelashes, diapers and clothes filled with sand.

And this one wonders, "What would happen if I were to lay my whole self down in the sand?"
We fit in baseball practice,
"Throw it higher this time Kalea, ok?"
and enjoyed playing with two happy little stubborn girls

Have I ever mentioned how much I am in love with our stroller? Instead of investing in a crib, we got a stroller (silly, I know). But OH how I love this off-roading front-swivel-wheel jogger. It has and does go everywhere. (It's a BOB Revolution, by the way) (and I would love the double-wide to run with both girls, but they're a pretty pricey penny). Naomi climbs on the front foot rest which makes for a good way to transport both girls, but I've learned there's no running and minimal off-roading that way - one day I hit a deep rut in the grass while going around a big group of Japanese tourists blocking off the sidewalk and propelled Naomi 4 feet out of the stroller. Every one of those Japanese tourists were gathered around Omi (with camera in hand) to document the event and make sure she was ok (she landed on grass - and cried big ol' tears because of the surprise of the launch and of all the people gathered around her!) Haha. Anyway, love the stroller, highly recommend it if you're in the market for a baby-jogger-off-roading-wonder.
Naomi insisted on using the umbrella, "in case it rains". Haha. And the yellow hibiscus lining the road home are beautiful. (You should come see them. You can stay with me.)
Lovely afternoon walk with my 3 favorite people in the world.

Staci, I bet you could keep an eye out on your local Craigslist.org for BoB dual strollers, it might take some time but I know I've seen a few on the SLC site - there were even a few people who posted "looking for BoB stroller" type ads
