Little girls and tea parties

Naomi has become quite the party planner. She comes up with elaborate new plans for her birthday party every day. She writes out her guest list (which changes daily just like her plans), plans her meals and cake and has a different theme nearly every day. Her birthday is still a month away, so we'll see what she dreams up.
This week she wanted to have a tea party lunch for her little girl friends over spring break. Daddy helped her make cookies the night before (because daddy bakes and mommy does not).
She excitedly planned everything out... little sandwiches for lunch, strawberries, grapes, pink lemonade ("because we don't drink real tea, mom"), and sugar cookies to decorate. Naomi helped me cut out paper flowers to decorate the table (which led to the barber shop incident in the previous post) and we laminated colorful paper for place mats. She loves designing crowns so we drew princess crowns for the girls to color and wear and topped it all off with a dance party in their favorite dresses.
The girls had so much fun being little princesses together. We'll have to do this more often.
