Adoption Court Hearing

It's official. Naomi Ardyza Kalani is now OURS. Our court hearing went really well. The judge was happy and kind. I've never been in court before, so it was a new experience for me. We were sworn in and the judge asked us several questions, talked with us about Naomi and then struck his gavel and declared her adoption final (in legal jargon, of course). It was a tender experience.
