You are my sunshine - 6 months!

You make me happy when skies are gray...







Naomi, today you are 6 months old!

At six months...

• You have learned how to sit up and balance yourself. It seems to have given you a whole new perspective on life.

• You love being mobile. You are a rolling maniac and get the funniest grin on your face when you rock back and forth on your hands and knees. You know this newly discovered movement is important, but what comes next?

• Your mouth has acquired a pearly-white little tooth (bottom right) with one right next to it on it's way.

• You want mommy and daddy's food, but when we put baby food in your mouth (we've tried pears and rice cereal), you are quite disgusted.

• You sleep through the night most of the time, but like to get up really early in the morning between 5:45 and 6:30 a.m.! (It's still dark outside - does that really qualify as morning?) ;)

• Your new favorite game is peek-a-boo. You cover your face and wait for just the right moment to pull off the cover and laugh.

• You love to be outside... the sun, the grass, the breeze.

• You are happy and healthy and oh, so loved.
  

Your giggles and smiles make us happier than you can imagine. You are a delight and I love being your mother.
