(with a 50mm lens it was impossible to hold the camera back far enough for a "self portrait", so this was the best photo we got of the two of us together. But isn't it great? mmm. love this man.)

We ran away together for an early birthday celebration... alone... without the kids (Darcy and Evan came to stay with them - thank you!!)... first time we've ever left them overnight... it was wonderful... and we missed them like crazy.
