character Development: Omi

The photo pretty much sums up miss Omi.

Beautiful princess (who thinks she is the queen). She loves her nails painted, swirling dancing dresses, STICKS, dirt, mud, sticks... and has a need to taste everything on the planet... still. STILL.

She loves movies, but gets into them a little tooo much (worrying about characters) and cleverly inserts movie quotes into her conversations which makes her fun to listen to... though her mouth only stops moving when she's asleep.

Omi loooooves people (but she's also a little shy) and animals (especially dogs and cats... and geckos... poor geckos.... with missing tails... because she caught and "translocated" them from the living room to the back yard and they were so scared that they just drop their tail and leave it squirming on the lanai).

She loves to run and dance, scream like a girl, laugh and play jokes on you and then say, "I'm killing you" meaning "I'm kidding you". She oober-loves geography. She knows more countries than I knew in the 5th grade. Loves her puzzle of the United States and can put it together in only a few minutes. Is smart, remembers everything and has a quick whit. She throws plenty of 2-yr-old fits and keeps us running all day.

She's a momma's girl... and a daddy's girl... and a Kalea's girl. She's especially drawn to Kalea and adores her sister. She love-love-loves to make her laugh by tickling or dancing or playing peek-a-boo with her. And also beats up on her. And then loves her some more. Funny, the whole love-hate-love sister relationship.

She makes me laugh... and... occasionally sit down and cry. And makes my heart feel like it will burst. I love her to pieces. In case you'd forgotten. ;)
