Warmth
The first thing I thought of when I pulled this photo from my camera was warmth. Not the kind of warmth that comes from the sun, rather the kind of warmth that comes from The Son of God, through the Holy Spirit. The kind of warmth that, when felt, warms from the top of the head down to the toes. The kind that brings light and peace and comfort, like arms around you protecting you from the cold and whispering that somehow you'll do just fine.
It is not a feeling that comes all the time, but when felt, has made a profound impact on my life. Various answers to prayers throughout my life have come with this feeling. And in prayer, there is one question that almost always brings this warmth. "Father, do you love me?"
And then wait. Can you feel the warmth? It is as though He is replying, "Yes my child. I do."
And that's what I was thinking about.
