Her cello

She's always had a thing for cellos. Always.

Naomi had colic as a baby and would cry and cry... until she would hear Yo-Yo Ma playing "Simple Gifts". She would pause reverently and listen with great intent until he finished.

Now-a-days she's got a thing for Steven Sharp Nelson with THE PIANO GUYS. The day does not start out right until we've watched at least 2 YouTube videos of Steve and John mashin' it up.

Just before we left the beach this afternoon she called over to me to come listen to her play.

She had found her cello.

She dragged it all the way home and when I came home from my meeting tonight she was out on the back patio (since ginormous sticks are not allowed in the house) sitting in a Naomi-size chair playing her cello.

Love it.
