It's wet here.
Thunder, lightening, freaked out little girls, golf-ball-size hail (20 minutes south of us), roads closed and an average of 3" of rain per hour.
Winter - Hawaiian style.
Happy (oh so very happy given some of our previous flood experiences - like the swimming centipedes and cockroaches that flooded in under the walls and then scurried onto anything not covered in water and sewage) ...So very happy that our house is mostly dry and we are not flooded. Our backyard drains away from the house into a large greenway that is currently a waist-deep lake from all the run-off. The photos are of our village taken by neighbors - we didn't take the camera when we ventured out this time.
Some of the roads are currently serving as rivers.
Campus computer lab - it's not brown carpet.
This is Mark's walk to work. He kindly left the car for us.
The girls are happy in their rain galoshes and loved spending the morning with little friends who are home from school on their first day of spring break!
