My see cow!
We met up with some friends from the north shore going to the zoo on Monday. Omi loved every minute... especially running free through the keiki zoo. It's the greatest place - totally child-proof. I can sit on the bench and let her roam and explore and watch the delight on her face.
"My see a cow! Mooo"
There's this fake cow in the keiki zoo... I guess where they demonstrate how a cow is milked... and it is seriously Naomi's favorite thing in the entire zoo... well, maybe the tortoises, but she loves the cow and talks about it all the time. She led her little friend Julianna over to see it because "it is SO CUTE!" lol.
All week we've heard about the "monkeys fingin' in the trees" (swinging is fingin' and swimming is fimmin').
... the "cock-a-doodle-doo's" and chickens (though we've got more in our neighborhood than there are in the zoo!)
"piggies"
"little piggies" (watching the guinea pigs with her new friend Loren)
Omi and Eden were holding hands on the way to see the giraffes, zebras and rhinos... only they're holding the wrong hand, so one has to follow behind the other instead of side-by-side. The girls are so stinkin' cute.
We had to see the giraffes and zebras. I'm fascinated by giraffes - they're so interesting and weird and beautiful and awkward - especially when they try to run! mrrrr.
There's not much holding the kids back from joining the animals... maybe there's a trench between them that we don't see?
We were taking a photo of omi, mommy and the zebra... when somehow we offended the zebra and he turned his back on us!
my beautiful little girl is growing up!
I'm sure, though that the most memorable part of our zoo excursion was the goats... "I see the goats." "I pet-ted the goats!" "GOATS GOATS GOATS!"
Happy, happy girl at the zoo.
