Omi-Naomi

Our conversation went something like this...

stac: "Naomi, can I take your picture?"
omi: "no"
stac: "ok"
omi: "hmmm.......(thinking) for Yiza?"
stac: "ya. we could take a picture for Liza"
omi: "ok :) "



If the answer is no, it's not even worth trying... she ignores you completely, hides from the camera, won't talk to you. If the answer is yes, she'll carry on a conversation with you, pull faces, happily play and stop now and then to look up - guaranteed to get something sweet.



omi: "Omi's turn. My take pict-ture."
stac: "what would you like to take a picture of?"
omi: "sprinkler!" (her other outdoor obsession)
stac: "ok. let me help you."
omi: "take pict-ture of OMI! and MOMMY. and NAOMI!"

the sprinkler was no problem... self portrait of omi - a little harder to do. we turned the viewfinder around (it rotates) so we could see ourselves and she had a blast making faces at herself in the camera for a few "self portraits".

Omi is cool. I love being a mom. happy sigh.
