Paradise Falls

In South America.
It's like America.
Only south.
Otherwise known as Waimea Falls (in Hawaii), but Naomi is convinced it is Paradise falls (You've seen Pixar's UP, riiiight?) and she is a Wilderness Explorer ("The wilderness must be explored! Ka Ka Raaa!") like Russel and Mr. Fredrickson. (At least that's how we get her to walk and not beg to be carried - totally does the trick.)
I can't get enough of this place. I might just have to break down and get an annual pass. And yes, I've resorted to taking lots of pictures of stationary plants. They don't turn their back on me any time I pull out a camera! ;)

It's a cannonball tree. About the most obscure tree I've seen on the island. Would hate to be under it in a wind storm!
The lovely miss Amy
And Auntie Judy
And "I want to get up and play too" Kalea Kaura.
By the way, I love this stroller (It's a BOB). Totally awesome off-roading. (Although I do wish I had the double for both kiddos right now). By the end of the afternoon, Kalea wouldn't stay in it and Naomi was too tired to walk, so I pulled the little one out and Naomi fell asleep in the stroller less than a minute later. She was SO exhausted! Missed the whole Peacock scarring mommy away from the car episode. She would have been talking about that one for weeks!
And here's that stinkin' p..p..p..p..peacock guarding my car.
