Singing in the rain

Today it rained. poured, actually. We haven't had much water falling from the sky this winter and I've had to resort to watering the lawn (Naomi helps haul the sprinkler around for me).

So anyway, it rained. The power went out for an hour or so. Mark and Mike went spear fishing (apparently it doesn't matter that it's raining because you're gonna get wet anyway). Naomi and I sat in a dark house and watched through the window as the rain splashed outside. We decided to take a closer look by sitting on the front porch. And then an even closer look. Naomi was fascinated. She was so happy splishing, splashing and singing in the rain.
