It was a fun day... filled with cleaning, watching the Ducks beat USC, pumpkin carving, and it even included some "trick-or-treat, please" to a grand total of 8 houses in our complex. And then the girls were satisfied with their miniature-sand-buckets-full-of-candy and ready to go back home to daddy... who was holding down the fort and passing out candy while we were away. Heaven help the soul who shows my child they can trick-or-treat with a pillow case! Can you imagine Omi with that much sugar in her system? ???? We let her choose a whoppin' 3 pieces of candy to eat tonight. And that made it hard enough to get her to sleep! Kalea... haha. She carted around a small snickers candy bar and licorice all night gnawing at them and never getting them open. Poor kid, that's the closest she's getting to the sugar stuff for now!





I loved watching our girls today - their excitement, watching them play together, watching a little tiny kitty-cat-Kalea run down the sidewalk in her slippers after her sister with her tail swishing back and forth. It made me happy. As I rocked a very tired little girl to sleep I felt so blessed... to be their momma-cat.
