We have a very busy week ahead. At this time of year I find that time seems to accelerate rapidly from about now until Christmas. Now would be a good time to FINALLY get rid of this nasty bronchitis! !!! !!



Mark was away on a scout training this weekend and the girls and I held down the fort. During the first 12 hours he was gone, I found (and killed) our first centipede in (this) apartment (chased it out of the house with a broom and then beat it to a pulp with a large rubber mallet - which left me feeling very jittery and somewhat empowered), cleaned up a bowl full of spilled milk that Kalea got her hands on (which, if you know how sick milk makes me, is worse for me than cleaning up throw up!) and made it through the night with a really bad migraine. *sigh* On the up-side, the girls slept through the night (mostly - Omi climbed in bed with me in the early hours of the morning), Naomi and I enjoyed painting together, I cleaned out the laundry room (which acts as the pantry, food storage, laundry room, cleaning closet, camping storage, and houses our extra freezer - now that's an accomplishment), finished three Christmas gifts and managed to talk the girls into getting dressed for the day at about 4pm, when Omi's neighbor friend showed up at the door to play - without clothes on - and I told the girls that only little girls who are dressed can play together. They both went running for clothes! I'm happy that Naomi has little friends in the neighborhood to play with. After moving so many times in the last few years I finally feel like we're settling into our neighborhood and new ward (church congregation).

We were very happy to see daddy when he came home!
